HISTORIC GROUNDS

Did you know that Kingston was the first capital of New York? During the Revolutionary War, New York’s First Constitutional Convention met at the Senate House and on April 20, 1777, adopted the first New York State Constitution.

Senate Garage sits on four beautifully landscaped acres of an 18th century garden and historic buildings dating back to 1777. The grounds located just outside our door belong to Senate House State Historic Sites and can be used for your ceremony and/or cocktail hour.

You can dance under the stars, have cocktails in the yard and get married within a 18th century garden.

Outside grounds are available May-October.
