About the event
Come back to the body, back to nature, and back to connection.

The Reunion is an inspired dance experience where movement becomes medicine and personal connections nourish a sense of community. Through simple prompts, you’ll be invited to reconnect with your body’s wisdom as we explore feeling a little more in our bodies and more authentically ourselves with each song.

Our time together is curated to harness the power of nature, movement, music, and authentic connection, with opportunities to share with others throughout the experience. Within the stunning brick-walled Senate Garage, we’ll create a transformative space for 90 minutes to dance, reflect, and get to know some of the fellow people in our community.

This Fall’s Journey: Process, Presence & Paradox

I have been deeply inspired by listening to Jungian scholar Marion Woodman’s teachings from Sitting by the Well on the feminine principle which she describes the characteristics as process, presence and paradox. I wanted to invite us to gather for this three-part series to explore how these words and their meaning feel in your body as you move with them and move with others. You are also invited to bring something from nature for each of the sessions. It could be an herb from your garden, a leaf that fell from the trees and right on to your path or something else that you’re called to bring.

Remaining Dates:

Tuesday, October 14

PRESENCE | Prompted by practices to cultivate embodied presence, notice what it feels like for you when you are in the present moment and when your awareness is split. Explore the places where you feel more agency to choose to be here now.

Tuesday, November 18

PARADOX | Where inside yourself and in the world can you see that two seemingly opposite things may also be true at the same time? What does holding the tension of opposites feel like in your body, and where can perception of paradox support you at this time?
