Nourish Yourself Spring Class Series
May 7 @ 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm
On the surface, this might look like a dance class where you’re guided to move intuitively in ways that feel good to you, with enough structure that you don’t have to be in your head about it.
On a deeper level, it can feel therapeutic to have space to clear your mind and feel your feelings. For many of us, when we start to move our bodies, we first encounter our grief or emotions that have been too inconvenient to tend to in the busyness of the momentum tunnel of modern life.
The most valuable moments are those when we come back to ourselves. And as many times as we might lose ourselves—again and again—part of living a human life is to notice and then do the things that bring ourselves back.
Every session includes a take-home print out to use as a resource with simple practices to help integrate what we experienced in class, weaving this nourishment into your daily life beyond our time together.
Weather permitting, you’re invited to bring lunch and join us for a picnic outside after class—continuing our connection outside.
The Senate Garage provides a gorgeous, spacious sanctuary for our movement. I’m excited to create this container for nourishment, expression, and returning to ourselves—together.
What to bring: • Comfortable clothes you can move in • Yoga mat if you’d like one (optional) Water bottle • Journal (optional) • Lunch if you’d like to stay for our picnic
Investment: Sliding Scale of $22- $33 per class
