The series serves a fresh dose of contemporary dance with a welcoming\, living room vibe\, complete with popcorn. Five Hudson Valley choreographers join RAWdance to share works-in-progress and revamped repertory\, tailored for intimate viewing. \nFor the CONCEPT series\, choreographers are encouraged to share work at any point of creation\, offering new perspectives into the artistic process. RAWdance’s Co-Artistic Directors Wendy Rein and Ryan T. Smith act as hosts between performances\, serving trays of popcorn\, sweet snacks\, and a healthy dose of banter\, helping make the series fun and welcoming to all. \nThe CONCEPT series started in San Francisco in 2007 and launched in the Hudson Valley in 2023.
