
The Fragile Femme: an evening of chamber music and dance

Vocalist Joanne Evans and vocalist/conductor Micah Gleason, in collaboration with pianist Elias Dagher, director George Miller, and dancers Kevin Zambrano and Matilda Sakamoto present an evening of semi-immersive chamber music and dance. The event will feature choreography by Matilda Sakamoto and Kevin Zambrano, and music by American composers from the 20th century to the present day, including three world premieres. The program will include musical settings and readings of poetry by Hilda Doolittle, Georgia Douglas Johnson, Margaret Atwood, and others.
This event will take place at 7pm on Monday, December 6th.
The event is free and open to the public, with any collected funds donated to Grace Smith House, Poughkeepsie.
However, we do ask that audience members reserve a ticket ahead of time. For the safety of our community, we ask that all audience members be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and wear a mask during the performance.

Grace Smith House is a private nonprofit that provides residential and non-residential services to victims of domestic violence and their families. They offer shelter, counseling, transitional housing, advocacy, safety planning, preventive education and more to residents of Dutchess County, NY.
